Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #162

Here's a card I created for the KKS Challenge #162. The challenge was to use 3 embellishments; I thought it was going to be pretty easy, however, I had some trouble with it...but I'm happy with what I came up with...I sure hope glitter counts!! My 3 embellishments are Glitter (on the water from the hose), twine and a button (and a trinket may count too!) I made several of these Fireman Birthday cards for Kards for Kids too (minus the embellishments). The flip card base is from The Stamps of Life (from my pal Peggy T.); the base of the card is embossed with a brick embossing folder (also courtesy of my pal Peggy T.)

Some cards for Kards for Kids

Here are ten cards I created for KARDS FOR KIDS !! They requested boy cards in the month of January and February. I'm pleased with how they turned out. The Monkey images are from Hero Arts I think. I had some fun on a cold January day (today was -12 C feeling like -24 C!) colouring the images and putting the cards together.

Here's a beautiful card made by my good friend and very talented Peggy T. She's having problems posting/linking with her blog, so I'm doing this for her...don't ya just love it...she's an amazing card-maker and scrapper, with a great eye for colour and design

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #? - Anything Goes

Here's my submission for Kraftin' Kimmies Challenge of "Anything goes" for the weekn ending January 18th, 2013 (today)...posted with a few hours to spare! I love this stamp 'cuz it's so versatile.
Here's a card I created on the weekend, as a Smiley Team Member for Kards for Kids, Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! I hope the kids like them...I made 10 for the kids, kept one for me, and gave one to each of my dear friends Wanda and Melissa!
